CJ’s Thrift Shop will be open 12:00-3:00pm on Dec 1 & 2, and Dec 7-9. December 9 will be the last day the Thrift Shop will be open.

Stitching Post no. 75

Election Filing Dates

Election filing dates for City Council positions are Dec. 7 through Dec. 28. The openings are 1 alderman for 1-year term, 2 aldermen for 2-year terms, Mayor for 2-year term.

Skidmore City Council Meeting

Will meet on December 9 at 6:00pm at Newton Hall.

Skidmore Community Betterment Meeting

Will meet December 13 at 6:00pm at Newton Hall.

Santa at the Fire House

The Skidmore Volunteer Fire District will be hosting Santa on December 19 at 2:00pm at the Fire House.

Graham Fish Fry

Graham Fish Fry dinners will be Dec 4, Jan 1, Feb 5, March 5, and April 2. They will be from 4:30-7:00 pm. Adults $12, under 12 years old $5.00.

Fresh Food Mobile Drop

December 23 at City Hall starting any time between 8:00am and 1 0:00am, depending on when the food is delivered. Hopefully Second Harvest will give us a more definite time closer to that date. We will post the time when we know it.

City Hall

City Hall will be closed December 24 and 31.

City Hall is open Monday 8-12, Wednesday 8-12 and 2-6, and Friday 8-12. There is an answering machine also. 660-928-3281. Calls will be returned only if you leave a message. In January, City Hall will have different days they will be open. That news will be in the January newsletter.
