Brush Pile

The brush pile will be shut down July 1 so it can be burned before the Punkin Show.

Clean Up

Dumpsters will be at the north edge of town July 18-25. Let’s spruce up the town before company comes to the Punkin Show.

July 22 at the park starting at 10:00 am.

Food Pantry News

July 28 from 1-3 and July 29 from 4-6 at City Hall. Bring a picture id if we don’t already have your address. We will take people in order at they line up their cars in front of City Hall. THIS IS OPEN TO EVERYONE FROM NODAWAY & HOLT COUNTIES, UNLESS YOU HAVE PICKED UP FOOD EARLIER IN THE MONTH.

Pets

July 1 is the date that $10 dog licenses need to be renewed. Pet vaccinations will be given on July 24th from 9-11 am at the Wildcat Park shelter house.

City Hall

City Hall is open Monday 8-12, Wednesday 8-12 and 3-6, and Friday 8-12. There is an answering machine also. 660-928-3281. Calls will be returned only if you leave a message.

SNAP

You may apply for SNAP (formerly called food stamps) over the phone. The office number is 816-364-3663 or call Lana Morgan at 816-344-2808. It is confidential.
